How listing verification works
Every listing on Trustle is checked in person: a Trustle reviewer visits the property before it goes live. Here is exactly what that looks like — and why it matters for you.
Why verification benefits you
Renters know every home on Trustle has been seen in person, so they trust your photos and details — and the calls you get come from people who already know what they're looking at. That means fewer wasted visits and serious enquiries from the start.
The verification process
Submit your listing
Fill in the property details, rent, amenities, rooms and photos, and choose how long the listing should run. Your listing is not visible to renters yet. Prefer not to do it yourself? Ask for assisted listing and we create it for you at the visit.
Pick a visit date
When you submit, you choose a preferred date and a morning or afternoon slot. We confirm the exact time with you by email. You, or someone you trust, needs to be there to show the home.
A Trustle reviewer visits
The reviewer walks through the property and checks it against your listing — the details, each room and what’s in it, and the photos. Small corrections can be made on the spot. If everything matches, you pay the listing fee to the reviewer in person.
Final check by our team
Our team reviews the reviewer’s report before the listing is published. If something needs another look, it goes back to the reviewer rather than going live.
Live with a Verified badge
Your listing goes live with the Verified badge and runs for the number of days you chose. Renters call or WhatsApp you directly — no broker in the middle.
What we review
Property details
The type of home, BHK, area, floor, furnishing and amenities are what your listing says.
Rooms and what’s in them
Each room listed exists, and the furniture and appliances you listed are actually there.
Photos
Photos show this property as it is today. Stock images, photos of other properties or heavily edited images are not accepted.
Location
The home is at the address and locality in your listing, so renters arrive at the right place.
Who is listing it
You’re the owner, or managing it for them as you said when listing. The reviewer may ask to see a building tax receipt or electricity bill in the owner’s name, and calls the number on your listing.
Common questions
Do I need to upload any documents?
No. Verification is done in person at the property — there’s nothing to upload. The reviewer may ask to see one proof of ownership, such as the latest building tax receipt or electricity bill in the owner’s name. They only look at it; nothing is copied or stored.
How long does it take?
It depends mostly on the visit date you pick. After the visit, our team gives the listing a final check and publishes it. You get an email when your visit is confirmed and when your listing goes live.
What if my listing doesn’t pass?
The reviewer tells you why, and you get it by email too. You don’t pay anything. Fix what was pointed out — for example, replace photos that don’t match — and submit it again for another visit.
Can I change the visit time?
Yes. Contact us and we’ll find another time that works.
Is verification mandatory?
Yes. Every listing on Trustle is visited before it goes live — there are no unverified listings. That’s what lets renters trust what they see.
Ready to list your property?
It takes about 10 minutes. You pick the date for the verification visit.
